Roon Control4 Driver Update for Nucleus and Nucleus+

Dear Roon Dealer,

We have been listening to your feedback regarding Roon Control4 drivers and integration with Nucleus and Nucleus+ and we are pleased to share that we have made a variety of updates to improve functionality, including:
Fixed: Volume control on Control4 OS3
Fixed: Playback commands when multiple zones are grouped
Added: HDMI blinding to audio/video zone driver output

I remember a certain someone talking about the shift of Roon towards more home automation. [emoji6]

Ok, so they have fixed some multiple zone commands and HDMI driver.

How do these things hurt my use as the control software in my 2-channel system?

Sorry Mike, still love Roon :P.

Randy, bloatware not focused on two channel.

Carry on. [emoji2955]

Actually the recent build 610 update sounds a bit better in my setup. My use case is a bit different from others as I don't use a Roon endpoint and I go directly from my DIY server to DAC's USB.

How I use it also.

Roon adding extra functions does not affect my use what so ever. That is really not bloatware. Bloatware is extra services and programs running on your computer that are not needed, just taking up resources. Adding a few extra functions that have no impact on those not using said functions would not be classified as bloatware :P.

Hmmmm... I guess if you have real minimal computer components, like many of the pre-configured servers that are using older tech and lower resources then I guess you could make a case for calling it bloatware :D. Just kidding, just kidding :).
