Roon and Lumin D2 question

I've been using Roon to control my D2 quite successfully, but have recently run into an issue I cant resolve.

When I plug a usb stick into the D2, I can use the Lumin app to see and play its contents, but I cannot figure out how to get Roon to see what is on the stick. Any ideas ?

I'm not sure that's even possible. You would have to know the IP address of the Lumin D2 on your network (i.e. 192.168.1.17). Then, map that IP in Roon. That MIGHT work.

If the USB stick is plugged into a Lumin player, Lumin app can play its contents but not Roon.

If the USB stick is plugged into the Roon core, I think it should be possible to add the USB drive path in Roon such that Roon can play it. Lumin app won't see it though.

Got everything fixed up by putting all my music on a SSD on the MacPro. Glad to have Peter's help both here and on the Roon support forum !
