Not sure if this is the right thread, if not apologies and just tell me where to post. I thought it would be nice to be able to access my music collection while at work so I setup the QuickConnect feature on my Synology NAS unit yesterday, DS415play. While inside my network yesterday I tested that I could use the QuickConnect Id I setup on both my iPad and via the Edge browser on my Xbox One and both worked for what's it worth. I just tried connecting from the office but no luck, it gets to the site, tries to log in but can't and returns a couple of suggestions.
Please check the following settings.
-You have entered the correct QuickConnect ID.
-Your <quickconnect id> is powered on and connected to the Internet.
I'm using the correct id and I know the NAS is up and runnning, I assume that's what it's referring to in the 2nd point.
Any idea what I should be looking for to fix this once I get home?
