If I was going to stream using a separate DAC, I was wondering if there is a difference in the quality of the digital out of the streaming source? I realize there is to some extent, I see Schiit DAC's have an LED letting someone know their source is not up to par.
There are a lot of streamers from $400 and up thogh, I was wondering if like a Bluesound Node 2, Yamaha or Cambridge using the digital out would be fine to feed a higher quality DAC? An Airies is like $3800.00. If only streaming from the internet, not needing best graphics or organizing/playing from computes etc. would something like I mentioned do the job?
One of the reasons I don't use a computer, I'm not an IT person. I think my theory of these component units being less complicated is being blown out of the water.
