I just did a year subscription to Qobuz to add to what Tidal offers. Comparing it seems Qobuz sounds more “smooth” than Tidal. Anyone else hear a difference?

After login, login to tidal settings —> servicescould use help with free trial of Tidal in Roon-nothing seems to play after I selected it as source and under setting no streaming option seems active. thanks for any help
did that but now it says too many failures and never plays
It can take a bit of powering on and off your devices in sequence to get Roon and Tidal up and running after any changes within your set-up.
A few questions.
Are you hardwired or trying it with wi-fi?
What type of wireless router are you using?
Where are you running Roon?
Are you connected to your DAC via ethernet or USB?
The main thing might just be getting search results for both your local library and the streaming services at the same time, based on any matching field, whereas with the Lumin app it only searches the source and field of the "tab" you currently have selected.I also have a Roon lifetime sub but can't entirely figure out how to fit it into my overall use pattern. The Lumin software already seems to do everything I need - local library on the L1 and NAS, check, Tidal/Spotify/Quboz integration, check, Airplay for Amazon HD, check. What would Roon bring to the table? Just not clear to me.
