I have the Questyle QP1R for the same purpose. The old iPod style wheel navigation is slightly odd, but sound is great. Price is unfortunately double the budget.

Alternative which might fit the budget is using your iPhone and adding the Oppo headphone amp.

The Questyle is probably the best sounding DAP at that price point. I was strongly considering that DAP myself, but couldn't reconcile the old school scroll wheel and small screen. Overall I found the A&K AK300 had better fit and finish, a larger screen, more user friendly UI & was not far off in overall SQ. I'm planning to add some Hifiman Edition X V2's soon also. No regrets :audiophile:.
