Some Statement 450's perhaps? ;)

That's the goal......although reality may be somewhere lower in the product line . :( A lot depends on what I can sell to fund this venture. You know what I have arriving in @ two weeks, and I have to pay for the back half of that purchase.

JDLaudio...just kidding about speaker enclosure, I'm sure Y'all have many man hours in R/D very interesting !!

I'm not part of the company......just a friend of the owner. I may be a dealer for them soon, though. They are a "no holds barred" attempt to make the finest speaker possible. They include (2) diamond tweeters (one front and one rear firing), two diamond midrange drivers, two mid-bass drivers with new sandwich technology, and a 15" subbass driver to plumb the depths. My pair will be going to Axpona, and then to me.

Why not add small waveguides to the tweeters and mids to minimize diffraction? Also time alignment for the drivers would be nice touches for an all out speaker.

There is felt installed around all the mids and highs to help minimize diffraction. I think the diamond drivers have a bit of a wave guide built into the driver as well. Time alignment is compensated for in the crossover, if I'm not mistaken. I am certain that these problems are well addressed though. I believe the 2-way book shelf they are working on will incorporate a waveguide.
