Hello All,
I am really new to the audiophile arena with great respect for quality sound.
As I explore the new world of music equipment I want to learn as much as possible on set up and assembly.
I am setting up McIntosh with a MC452 Amp, C2600 Pre Amp and MVP901 and I would enjoy being able to play audio files without having to spend a large amount of money on additional equipment. I may consider other items next year but for now I have a new computer with a large amount of music files to play and I would like to set up. I've seen JRivers running on a system like this but to tell you the truth I am not sure how to get there and the manufacturer instructions do not lend themselves to the beginner. "McIntosh set up for dummies? If I am proceeding correctly, it looks like I plug the computer into the C2600 with a USB cable and after set up control and play from my computer or iPad. As for playing music from my iPhone, I am not sure I can pull this off either. Assistance from the pros on this would truly be appreciated.
