I puchased a hifi linear power supply for my dac, and it is burning in nicely. Listening the The Beatles Abby Road cd thru my Philips Little Giant as powered by this PS gives me a very clear insight into all of the various distortions in it that I could not previously hear at this level. Horns take on their own distinct space. Width and heighth varies dramatically.

Listening to A Decade of Steely Dan presents a smooth, liquid sense of air and space along with solid 3-dimensional imaging, which is the best that I have heard from this cd regardless of the megasystems I have listened to it on previously.

The improvements from this PS are substantial.

--More substantial sound, more “fleshed-out”, greater body and firmness

--Improved cleanliness of the signal, which equals less grain, improved clarity, and resolution

--Improved soundstaging, greater sense of air

--Greater sense of “ease” to the sound

--Greater sense of energy and power, greater dynamics

--Lower noise floor, letting you hear into the recording even more

I am still waiting on a special oiled screen coax (otherwise identical to my current one), and a power cable for my tube headphone amp.

Listening to Patricia Barbers Cafe Blue thru this rig allows me to here the acoustical space like never before. Punch and dynamic scale is obviously enhanced to the point that I can't imagine this digital recording being better.

The rest of the listening rig is comprised of a David Yee output transformerless single ended dual triode headphone amp driving my JVC HA-D990 headphones.

My Carver MV-5 is serving as a transport.
