It should be a good pairing. I have read reviews from several people and Pro reviews from Darko and Stereophile using PeachTree amps to drive Maggies. The PT is a neutral sounding amp and maybe a little bit on the sunny side of neutral from some user reviews and a friend of mine that auditioned one. However, some reviews contradict this. I own a pair of MMG's and 1.6's. Personally, I like a little bit of warmth with the Maggies. I use Mills 1 Ohm resistors to tame the tweeters and add a bit of warmth.
