Hi Davey, I was (still) surprised that no one here yet responded to this very tragic news.
I have all
'The Fast and the Furious' movies on Blu-ray (five, with the sixth one coming up on Blu December 10), and several other Blu-ray movies too with
Paul Walker as one of the main actors.
And I also know some about Paul; his prowess behind the wheels of fast cars. ...He was a good driver in real life.
This is a total shock not only to me, but for so many all around the world. ...And right now Hollywood is all eyes on this tragic news, as Paul has so many fans all around.
He was only 40, and leaves behind his 15-year-old daughter,
Meadow Rain Walker.
Paul wasn't diving that Porsche Carrera GT, his friend was, and Paul was sitting in the passenger seat.
The car was running at 45mph, from what I've read, and somehow it bifurcated from the main drag and hit a small tree on the road's side.
BUT! It landed right above an exit valve from an underground gas pipe! ...And that caused an explosion and a fire.
They just had no chance! It was just too quick and deadly. ...Very unfortunate, because if it woudn't have been for that gas line under their car they most likely would be alive and without a scratch.

Some well known people (musicians, actors, dancers, movie directors, painters, photographers, poets, writers, philosophers, artists, peace keepers, family members, ...) affect us more emotionally than others less well known people when they die; Paul is/was one of them for me.
And if someone close to my friend passed away, that too I feel it very close to my heart and soul, as I can directly relate to my own blood and origins on Earth.
But every time someone dies in the world, even totally unknown to me, and if it was an innocent person (not a hardcore criminal without any respect for life), that too has an impact on me.
