Kudos to Scanspeak for thinking outside the box by designing & manufacturing these new, unconventional drivers. The first thing I thought of when I read through the article was that the new tweeter seems to achieve through the physics of its design, what Magico achieved through several modifications to the basic design of the Illuminator BE tweeter (incl: diamond-coated BE diaphragm). Will it catch on & become widely adopted? Only time will tell...
