Nice to see him give due recognition to Triode Corp of Japan and rate their CD player higher than the Oppo 205. Triode has a new DAC out which I heard at Munich. Very impressive stuff. They don't publicize it, but Triode has a small group of engineers dedicated solely to their digital products (ironically, out of the UK!)
 
Dan.......Thanks for the link to the Oppo UDP-205 review. Reading the Leonard Norwitz review from Enjoy The Music was rather exhausting. Leonard seems caught up in his own ovation and apparently likes the sound of his own voice, so to speak. His review could have easily been encapsulated and accurate with half the word count in my opinion. At any rate, it appears from this review that the Oppo UDP-205 represents an excellent value for its performance and versatility.
