Also received both. Those are interesting products, but there's not much in the articles that wouldn't be known to mankind :).

It's good to see Mc getting reviewed again. LONG overdue.
 
That's true, haven't seen many Macintosh reviews lately - actually to an extent wondering whether they are still actively developing new products.

Maybe they'll have copies at RMAF as it seems like a great issue.

I gave up on TAS 4 years ago. Just couldn't take JV's monthly new references and Harley's increasingly crappy/marketing-speak reviews. I hope they've added some better writers.

I only look anymore at what they put up on their Web site; based on that the answer is no. IMO the trashiest (for content, not presentation) most over-rated audio mag in print. I prefer Sound + Vision, at least I know what to expect and how to evaluate the content.
 
Yea, read through the issue last evening. I like some of the changes that they are introducing, especially including rear view photos on reviews!
