Just to clear any doubt for my recent absence here, I have encountered a technical issue that prevents me from accessing this forum since last week.

I got browser connection timeout using different browsers, different computers, and tried almost all the different internet service providers in my region. The forum smartphone app does not work for me either. (I can ping www.audioshark.org successfully, however.)

This message is made using a slow proxy server, which is not really a solution and presents other technical difficulties and security concerns.

The forum itself is clearly up and running. I'll continue to work with Mike and try to get this resolved.

Sorry about this Peter, hopefully Mike can get his tech support to fix this for you.

Yup, been working on it for two days already. We have a plan, but it may involve the site going down for 4-24 hours depending on where you live. Why is this happening? Hackers in China and other countries are attacking U.S. based servers with vengeance, so they’ve been blocked by U.S. hosting companies and ISP’s.

I Know some students had their systems hacked when they were on ZOOM for school.

I know the site stopped working with my old IE11 browser, forced me to use my laptop and get familiar with Win10, LOL

That sucks such broad tactics have to be used to hold back hacking

Why are they hacking for purpose or destruction?

No clue. But hackers from China and abroad were attacking a bunch of the big hosting companies and they started blocking those countries. This is why Peter from Lumin couldn’t access the site. We have found a workaround and it appears to be working.
