I have a lumin A1 with version 8.4 but I have no sound with analog outputs (RCA and XLR). On the other hand, the digital output works smoothly.
Has anyone ever had this problem and who knows what I can do?

Have you ever had sound on the analog outputs? Have you checked to see if your firmware is up to date and current? Have you gone through every option in the menu to see if somehow the analog outputs were turned off?

Thank you for your answer. I check my Lumin, the firmware of the appli in my iPad is 8.04 and for my Lumin (i suppose) is 1010 (hardware). The sound cut this morming, and work perfectly yesterday.

Let me schow my system : VPI Prime + Kiseki Blue NS, Jolida JD9 with many tweak + Goldmund Metis 5 + Grand Cru Horizon lourdspeaker, Metis Player + Esprit Cable for modulation and current.
My english i s very poor, thank to Bing Translator but i am a french journalist and i wrpte the firts article about the A1 : https://www.on-mag.fr/index.php/top...-player-il-fait-chanter-le-reseau-a-merveille

Best regards

And i don't see any option for the analog output except low and high gain in the menu of the Lumin.

Thank you. I hope we get more responses. All my Lumin players have been extremely reliable. I am sure we will find out what is wrong.

Please:
- Cut power to Lumin, wait for a few minutes, then turn on its power again
- Then, make sure DSD setting is set to Bitstream
- Make sure Analog Output level is Normal
- Maks sure Custom Resampling is OFF
- Enable volume control, move the volume slider to left, then right again to reach volume 100%
- Try both PCM and DSD music
- Try RCA and XLR output, but not simultaneosly
- Try different inputs to your pre-amp

Thank a lot
I will do that when i finish my working
Best regards

No nothing has changed with your advice, but there was a power outage in the night, is there not a power supply for the analog and one for all the digital and streamer ? and that one of the two could have been damaged ?
Must i make a reset and how i can do it ? I see a reset bouton near the digital BNC.

Best regards
Pierre-Yves

I don't think a hardware reset will help (it merely resets the settings and the current playlist), but there's no harm in doing it: cut power to Lumin, insert a pin to hold the reset button, turn on the power while holding the pin, and keep holding it until some very small text shows up on the front panel after the LUMIN boot up logo is cleared. This usually takes 20 seconds.

Please seek help from your dealer, see if they can help you find out whether it's the power supply or the A1 is damaged, and to help with the RMA process.

Dear Peter
The update did not give anything. I had Francois of synergy (he's a friend of mine), and he's dealing with you directly. Indeed, this is extremely amazing of a device manufactured as a lumin but Francois is on the move.
Thank you for your patience in any case. As this is my favorite source with my IPV for my tests, I have a bit of a panic and try to solve the problem quickly.
Best regards
