Hi all! Just joined the forum and thought I would introduce myself! I live in Washington state and consider myself an audiophile hobbiest, meaning I love good music and home theater but am mostly uneducated in the technical side of the hobby. Below is a rundown of my current audio/video gear:
Bedroom: Denon AVR 4308, SVS Prime Satilites front left/right, SVS Prime center channel, and Polk Audio rears, Goldenear sub with a Panasonic Blu-ray player and Denon iPod dock.
Living room: (2 channel) Peachtree Nova300 (just ordered to replace old Denon AVR 5800), Audio Tecnica turntable, Marantz CD player, Marantz iPod dock, and Definitive Technology BP 7004 speakers. Also have Definitive Technology sound bar with sub for TV.
Family room: Onkyo receiver (model escapes me right now), Def Tech Mythos all around for 5.1 with SVS SB12 sub and Panasonic 4K player and Onkyo iPod dock.
Theater room: Yamaha A3070 receiver, Oppo UDP 205 4K player, Epson 5040UB projector, SVS Ultra Towers and Ultra Center up front, SVS Prime Satilites back surrounds, SVS Prime Elevations for heights, Paradigm Titon rear surrounds, and two SVS SB16 Ultra subs.
I have some other rooms with misc gear, but that’s the bulk of it!
I’m looking forward to learning more about this hobby from many of you and maybe sharing some of my own experiences too!
