Thought since I went with Shindo setup for the maiden voyage this would make sense here. 350 lbs of White Ash hardwood gives new meaning to resonance free...feet were custom made by Pro Audio Bono of Poland. No finish on it yet, still raw, I'm going to ponder some different samples over the next few weeks, feel free to give opinions on finish (darkness, color added, etc) I like lighter right now due to the dark walnut look of the Tannoy and the wood floor that does show has a dark finish. Pardon the crappy iPhone pics, camera battery was dead, I'll get some better pictures this week.

Very nice, would love to hear it. For the rack I'd just clear coat it or a Danish oil.

Superb Arthur !
Congrats !
Something you might be interested in are the new Ceramic 5 feet from PAB, in a nickel-manganese alloy.
Vladek sent them to me for testing , along with feet in brass housings.
Under my Shindo Giscours, the Nickel ones replacing Lignofol feet have a tremendous effect.
The increase in dynamics and details, crispier highs is just awesome.

Thanks Jerome, I'll get in touch with Vladek and try them. Seeing the inner threading, do they thread into the component feet or do you rest your Giscours on top of them?

Gorgeous rack Art. Maybe just keep it simple with a stain to bring out the natural color
as is. Jerome- I have never heard of LIGNOFOL. Is that an isolation product?

arthurs.......What an amazing custom audio rack. I have never seen anything that approaches the sheer grandeur of those robust ash planks. The single opening fits perfectly with the aesthetics of the wall behind it. Love it!

"Lignofol" is called Panzerholz Plywood in Germany. It is a very dense plywood.
Lately a german company built speakers with this material and they got lots of praise at the late Munich show.
PAB AVF can be ordered in this material.

Quick couple pics with the Found Music 2A3 amps in, Mercury rectifiers and a layout that keeps power and circuit separated. These have a surprising punch given their low wattage, and oh so sweet sounding....on acoustic, piano, singer/songwriter or small combo jazz...holy crap they sound good. CC80's are off to the shop, something funky with the volume pot on one...
