$40,000 per mono amplifier sure seems like a typo in the context of the other prices listed, but it's written twice.

Years ago I had a No. 331 (most I could afford), which I thought was a wonderful amp driving my Aerial 10Ts. ML was then a Madrigal Labs brand. But then ownership and the factory got on roller skates, and, IMO, the brand lost its cache. I'd love to see them get it back.

The press release says it is designed and built in the US. I’d be curious about who engineered this line, and where they are based. Are any of the legacy ML designers still around? Seems like the emphasis is on aesthetics.
