Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS) have produced a custom edition of its M3X isolation platform specifically tuned for the footprint of the MT10.

As with all M3X platforms...A finely polished black granite contact plate is combined with two custom resonance control stages in a billet machined aircraft aluminum frame with a craftsmanship finish and black anodize coating. This design was created to offer maximum performance, cosmetic elegance, and a durable scratch resistant inlay design that will provide years of maintenance free service.

I also use their damping plates on McIntosh components.

Everything HRS exudes a high quality finish.

Plan to listen this weekend.... Hopefully, it will perform exceptionally well sitting on the Quadraspire Sunoko.

Great combo Steve :disbelief:

What do you think about the damping plates on your c1000T ? Have you put one in your c1000c too ?

Steve, your rack looks great. I noticed an improvement when I added a Symposium Segue ISO platform under my VPI Classic 3. I have become a believer in vibration control. My rack is only a chest not of audiophile grade, but looks good in the room it is in. I couldn't justify the expense of an HRS at this time.

Thanks Frank.

I use 2 x large DPX (new thick ones) on the C1000C & 2 x large DPX + 1 x medium DPII on the C1000T (pyramid stack).

MC2301s have a large DPII on top of the autoformers. Here, for EM shielding from other components. Eg. Centre loudspeaker sitting on the vented shelf above.

MCD1100 has 2 x medium DPII
MVP891 1 x medium DPII

The damping plates are not only effective for vibrational control but work as an EM shield. I have found them to hold a static charge after the system has been on for awhile.

They appear to be most effective on the pre-amp (both boxes).

Again, incredible finish & I like the dense compound they incorporate. Quite unique.

(MT10 perspective cover by Ginkho Audio. I believe its a better version than the Clearaudio).

I love it! No more footfall. Tap test PASS. Tapping the rack no longer transfers through. It works.

Currently Spinning Yello - Flag, Mercury 1988 836-778-1 after 2 long wash cycles on the AudioDesk System to bring this pressing to better than new.

Despite the fact that vinyl of this era is lightweight, spinning Yello is an experience to behold. CDs of the day & re-releases are nowhere near the vinyl playback levels.

Substantial improvement with the HRS M3X, any remaining resonance feedback through the rack is totally eliminated resulting in a level of blackness I have never quite experienced with vinyl anywhere to date. Amazingly tight, immersive music.

Fabulous combination. An isolation platform designed, dimensioned, balanced & tuned for the McIntosh MT10. It is worth the spend.

Congrats. HRS is amazing stuff...I have 2 of their HRS M3 platforms and a whole slew of their DPX damping plates. The other half of my system is isolated with Stillpoints Ultra 5s...and I found the exact combination of what I have to be wonderful...and as you describe, an inky blackness which seems to allow the music to emerge as if played right there. All 9 of my components have isolation underneath and damping on top including the speakers and sub.
