Hi All,
I have checked through the forums and haven't been able to see if anyone has paired a MSB Dac direct to the new Naim NAP350 mono's. I have a few great amps and some work with the dac but it can trigger others into protection mode.
Amps I have:
MSB S202
Luxman M10-x
Burmester 036
Mcintosh 462
The Discrete Dac works direct with each of the amps and sounds great.
Amps that have not worked with the dac:
TAD M2500
Vitus S101
It (MSB Discrete) immediately triggered these into protection mode. They worked fine with other dacs. I talked to MSB and one of their engineers indicated it is something to do with the grounding of the xlr input.
I would like to know if anyone has hooked the discrete to the Naim's and what they think. Mike, you are one of the only dealers i know of that sells both brands.
Thanks Everyone!
