MR85!!!

I acquired a clean MR85 tuner off eBay today. I missed out on one last week, having been outbid by a measly $50 but it must have been for a reason. I got this one a LOT cheaper than I would have paid for that one last week.

Here's a pic from the ad. I'll post more after I receive the unit and put it into service.

One more item checked off my McGear acquisition list.

Congratz! I am also looking at getting an MR85

It arrived last night. I put it in the rack and realized I need to open up a small area back there so I can fit the face flush with the front edge of the rack.

Got it up and running. I'm still in manual tune mode until I can program my URC MX880 integrated remote to assimilate the McIntosh MX119 remote and specific commands for the tuner. I also need to go get me a small cable to make up the data connection between the MX119 and MR85 so I can control it remotely.

I did listen to it a bit last night. It's a nice tuner, sounds great and looks like it belongs next to the MX119.
