My analogy holds up nicely. You can disagree all you wish. I have no intent on getting into a 1000 post WBF type exchange when positions will never change.
I have never stated that MQA's benefits should be accepted without question. My posts after hearing the demo indicated I was not overwhelmed, Yet, on several very familiar tracks (Dylan, Franklin, Flack) there was no doubt these were the best, or at least very different from any version I had ever heard. I will let someone else worry if there is a version I may have missed by these artists.
the only debate is a prediction of how this will turn out when we have MQA in our own systems to check it out.
and we are predicting a result based on a commercial entities closed demos only in systems from that entity and digital files provided by that entity......and marketing handouts.
and my only position is that I await the opportunity to hear it in conditions under my control, or await other listeners conclusions having that same opportunity.
I'm not sure what I've said that seems closed minded or not ready to hear what this product can do?
I'm just waiting for the finished product to operate in an open environment. and pointing out we are not there yet.
