I'm a fan of Mojo audio. Mojo continues to win Awards for their PCM direct coupled DAC. They won a Golden Ear this year as well as a Blue Note. They keep racking up awards.

I have had servers feeding DAC for about 6 years now. I have been able to step by step improve the performance of my digital and my analog over these 6 years. I hear the changes hardware and software have on audio playback. Now I'm an expert, right? Of course not. But I do have an idea of what sounds natural and pleasing. I understand there is something wrong when the volume goes up but your ears say ouch.

In the past I have had 3 DAC. A Bel Canto ref, a deqx premate and an RT Audio. The later were decent DAC. The deqx dynamic with punch, the RT, smooth and musical. When I bought the Mystique it was immediately clear this was in another league. Just better.

It seems some gear gets written up all the time. Some gear gets all sorts of awards. Others get both. Mojo is getting awards I believe they deserve. They have an excellent product at a very affordable price. It's 10% off now. It's worth every penny.

It is a simple machine. If you want bells and whistles, dsd, fancy readouts, go buy another DAC. If you want excellent musical reproduction, get this DAC and focus on Redbook rips via DB Poweramp, or Tidal. If you set your system up correct, I'm pretty sure you will be stunned at where digital is today.

Fyi, I have found all my digital equipment to be very sensitive to the power supply from the wall. For what it's worth.

Mojo makes a great DAC. I too have enjoy their gear. They are playing in a difficult market price as there are some very good DAC's now in the under 10k range as well as the under 3k range. Nice stuff for sure.

I’ve been reading the reviews about this dac, wow, they are all stellar. Looks like a great piece.

My buddy had one in and felt that for the price it's very very good. There are wonderful options now at all price points. We are lucky to be able to choose flavors now, lol.

I really enjoy the Mojo products. They are very good for the money. IMO. I have not sat with it and other outside of the 3 other DAC Imowned. All in the same price catagory and the Mojo is clearly better.

Something to consider, Mojo just signed with Roon about 2 weeks ago. I believe he is going to inbed Roon right in his DAC and offer a Roon NUC with a fully upgraded Mojo power supply to operate it. Basically the same game MSB and MBL are playing now. That could end up an amazing device.

My only concern about that route is my complaint on the Qobuz Sounds Amazing thread. Will the imbedded configuration allow access to Primephonic, Qobuz, Pandora etc. Technically if I wanted, I could dump Roon with no sonic loss. Well, maybe not. I like Qobuz sound as stand alone. I have HQ player via Roon and I have no problem finding any of my 1800 album on my NAS using HQ as stand alone. That only leaves the Tidal sound as being shaped by HQ player going back to Tidal stand alone sound.

It would take more work and skill to do this. Roon is point and click. Its easy, and voices very well. Just a musing of mine over what I do with the equipment in front of me.

Mike spoke with me the other day about MBL and MSB doing this. I think it's genius . Since you can just hook up your hard drive, what's not to like as long as it sounds great. I'll stick, for now, with my new Memory Player server/streamer and their matching DAC they made me, but I heard that top MSB at Mikes and was blown away.
