Does anyone know of a program like TuneUp that runs independent of iTunes, but can scan your music files and fill in missing Metadata?

BTW...Had dental work done Tuesday and the assistant said she got an IPad for Christmas. I told the dentist I wanted another assistant, a windows user please...LOL...She knew I was kidding and she is a sweetheart..PLUS ..never screw with someone who is about to put sharp things in your mouth...

Does Brainz work independently of iTunes?
It is independent of iTunes but it requires a little bit of user input. You just select the folder you want to scan and you have to make a few clicks.
There's a little learning to do but I think there's a YouTube video or two that makes it easy.
i wouldn't scan your entire library until you know what you're doing. It doesn't fill in missing metadata it overwrites it.
