Besides the fact you want to keep a supported OS with security and software patches, Microsoft just sweetened the deal....

The only thing I use my XP machine for anymore is copying CDs to my music server. On the other hand, if I ever lose my job then I will need a better computer. However, until then, I guess as long as it works I will stay with my Dell XP machine from 2005.

My IBM PC is from the 1999 era! ...I think (perhaps before?).
