Meet the magic eye vacuum tube

Radio tuning indicator primarily? They are cool. I do recall seeing radios with those when I was a kid
 
My dad had a big fisher stereo system with those tubes when I was a kid, good times.
 
Those are very cool, thanks for posting. I saw a video on You Tube a while back of a very large tube amp with organ music playing. The tubes were dimming along with the music. Can anyone find it?
 
My dad had a Pentron Reel-to-Reel that used one of those tubes for a record level indicator. Thanks for the blast rom the past!
