MCD100 + D150: An ideal combination?

I am considering the D150 again. I had purchased and then changed my mind. My buddy Fritz Curtis has the D150 and seems to like it and I believe him.

I have no interest in the 450t, why? Both the MCD1100 and D150 have the DIN ports.

Is this a marriage made in heaven?

You raise a VERY interesting point about the little known MCD1100 DIN port, indeed! I would certainly like to hear confirmation from McIntosh regarding its use, compatibility and whether it actually passes DSD in the required proprietary fashion.
