MC1.2KW's with Strads? Has anyone heard this combo?

I've heard the MC1.2KW's on other speakers and like what I heard but it was a while ago.

Joe, I love my MC601's with my Stads. I would think the MC1.2KW's would sound even better. I am also using a C1100 as a pre. I like to match my gear as much as I can.

Thank you Paul. I am waiting to see what announcements come from CES before I do anything.

I'd probably just get the MC452, I don't need the power of the 601's.

The only reason I'm considering the MC1.2KW's is the quality of the sound is different. They have a very smooth, effortless, torquey push to them, which I love. I guess more old school McIntosh sound?

Joe...Perhaps the next generation MC2301s? Could they be known as the MC2501?

One thing you can always count on with McIntosh.... They know how to make a better tube amplifier.
