The MB100 power brick is another McIntosh/Autonomics design faux pau. Not only does the power brick buzz but when any portion of the power source body and cords come into contact with ANY portion of system interconnects as well as speaker cables, the buzzing/interference becomes audible though the speakers. Side note: Since I do own quality interconnects and speaker cables, would not this type of issue be arrested?

Anyway...

I want to replace the power source. Does anyone know of a WireWorld/AudioQuest/Furutech equivalent power source developer/company that specializes in upgrading your power brick/supply with a high-quality performing power source?

There are many linear PSUs out there. Choose one with the right DC voltage to suit.

A good cheap one is HDPLEX which has 2 rails and 4 DC outputs.

If your cables are fully shielded, you should not be experiencing EM injection issues.

Yeah, I found this earlier today and it looks promising. HDPLEX Fanless Linear Power Supply for PC Audio and CE device and, I purchased it. Actually, preordered for a 25th of May distribution.
