I spoke with Autonomics the day before yesterday a long length about the MB100 unit build and the current and forthcoming technology. More on that later and another thread.
Anyway...
During the conversation, we also talked about the MB100 IOS APP and it was confirmed that they are first updating the Mirage IOS APP for both iPad and iPhone/iTouch.
You may or may not know that their Mirage IOS APP works with the MB100. The difference is how they skin the APP. Otherwise, its the same.
Another difference is that the APP for McIntosh is not updated as frequently as the Autonomics Mirage APP. In order for them to update the McIntosh APP requires that the folks at McIntosh approve and give the ok to push the update. This can take a bit of time.
During that wait time, the folks at Autonomics offer the option that you just use the Mirage APP until McIntosh does or does not ok the APP update.
Autonomics suggested that he update is forthcoming next week but could be delayed pending a few minor tweaks but assured that the update will be this month! He was not a liberty to discuss what the revision offers. For all I know it could be stability fixes. Though, I hope the APP update offers a more robust interface and includes a search option that is averrable in both iPad flavors for the iPhone/iTouch.
