Mark Knopfler Using Kemper Profiling Amps for His Onstage Sound

It sounds like the big advantage is the unlimited flexibility with respect to switching between sound profiles for his guitar.
 
I’m curious about using something like that for home use and with all the amp profiles, being able to change sound on the fly.
