Mine came in yesterday and I gave it a spin last night. Sounds a lot like "Get Lucky" to me. But yes mellow would be one way of describing it. Also got the new Allison Moorer yesterday and if you like her type of music it is "very" good.

Thanks Jack. I'll look into her latest album. The new Mark Knopfler is perfect for late night listening. I really like it.

I agree with the "late night listening." Allison has been a favorite of mine since the 90's. To me Shelby Lynne's more talented sister as she is not only a singer but a very talented songwriter.

there was a YouTube thing I posted a while back about the recording process (recorded analog on tape). I just ordered it with Ragpicker's Dream and Neck and Neck (with Chet Atkins) earlier this week from Amazon and I spun all 3 this week. Neck and neck is more out and out country/rockabilly given Chet Atkins' presence but I liked them all. Tracker is very sedate. I still prefer the Dire Straits albums over his solo work but he is a masterful story teller and his solo albums have been very much the canvas on which his folk/country tendencies with a penchant for stories have been displayed.
