So...
since i had the S1 (mk1) in my room for a couple of month i knew i will return to Magico house yet again.
i know Yair Tamam for more then 10 years now... and Alon of course. but even they are from Israel, Magico speakers are hard to get in here, there is under 10 units around the country (may be less). its a very high cost speakers world wide but with Israel tax and transportation from the bay area it becomes a LOT MORE.

a friend of mine got the S3 MK1 (the only one in the country!) that he was lucky enough to get on trade vs his S1...
so, when i heard Magico will go for the MK2 i knew i must have them.
the S1 was a lot of fun and i appriciates their sound greatly but even in my Very! small room it was lucking some mid bass (and bass of course) energy. i was flipping them for a pair of Avalon Eidolon that were my dream for years, but now, when i can afford the S3MK2 its time.

Magico said it will be a month give or take for production so, i guess when i will be back from the Munich show it will be a short wait for them to arrive.

i am very exciting for this!
thank you guys for the heat burning around
Aviad.

Congrats, Never heard the Avalons but the S3 Mk2 is a big step forward from previous and im sure you will enjoy them ..

Congratulations on your order of the S3 Mk2's Aviad! :congrats:I heard them recently with low hours, and even in the early break in process they were much better than the S3 Mk1's (which were no slouch). If you're looking for an upgrade in the bass department from your Eidolons, the S3 Mk2's will deliver. I played them reasonably loud on some grunge music like Rage against the Machine and classic rock like Dire Straights & they can rock out.

After the full break in process, the bass should deepen and open up in both macro and micro detail. And the drivers should sound more coherent and work in harmony. Though midrange and high end definition & sound staging were already excellent by 30hrs.

Engineering, incl: fit and finish are excellent of course. And they look to be a perfect fit size wise for your room. Please post an update when your precious cargo arrives. Looking forward to your first impressions!

Congrats ! All the new S Series mk 2 speakers I've heard so far have been spectacular. It will be a big jump compared to S1 mk 1.

Thanks guys!!
great to be here.

I'll surely post some review when il get it.
The waiting is killing me... and it will be a PITA to get them three stories up stairs.. to my house.

Congrats with new S3mk2s! The pain will be worth it! I had to carry my MPros up 3 floors also.
