Magico M2 SP review and Measurements

Luckily I only have 100ish watt mono blocks.

Luckily you had at least '100ish watt' so your amp did not clip. Powerful amps don't burn tweeters, heavy hand on the volume do, regardless of how powerful the amp is. But you do have better chance to survive with a powerful amp. It is counterintuitive, but that is how it usually works.

I have found that the M2s are fairly easy to drive. Especially for a sealed box speaker.

The key is to only turn it up as loud can go without clipping/distorting. If that's loud enough for you - great. If it's not, then you need more power.

I sometimes turn the stereo on and listen 3 rooms away, thus playing them sometimes very loud and have no problems. I have 140w per channel.
