I would like to get a subscription to an audio magazine. I prefer a print mag to digital. I am looking for one that covers the full range. Not just the most expensive equipment. But I do want the top end also covered.

I have not looked at any in years. So, which would you recommend?

Just Absolute Sound I buy a few others of the stands from time to time. Like Hi Fi or UHF , Sound Stage , the inner ear years ago Bound for Sound ( I think it has folded) The Absolute Sound is far more content than the rest the only online I read is Analog Planet.

If you have an iPad, HiFi News is excellent and has the top writers in the UK. They review NEW products MUCH faster than the U.S. Mags. It's not inexpensive (I think around $49/year), but I find it to me one of my favs.

Stereophile and TAS (The Absolute Sound) are also available on the iPad and I subscribe to both of them.

Lastly, you will want to check out Tone Publications (just google it and look for the little link that says "standard resolution" - that's the free one. It's free and available electronically.

Case in point...they've already reviewed the latest B&W speakers.

It will take US magazines a year or more I bet you to review these.

Hifi Critic in the UK. No adverts and you must subscribe for paper copy.

Well I went with The Absolute Sound to start... Stereophile looks like another good choice.

I subscribe to both "Stereopile" and Abolute Sound because of Anthony Cordesman. Please keep in mind most publications survive because of ad revenue. Ever notice a glowing review with the same exact item on a full page ad next to it? I also like to read Mono/Stereo, Dagogo and 6 moons.
