Oh man, sorry to hear that. A truly underrated and exceptional musician. RIP, Mr. Mays.

Heard about this yesterday and played my Pat Metheney disks last night.

The first time I saw the PM Group was when the self titled album came out back in 1978 in a college auditorium, West Chester in PA. Jaco Pastorious had just recently passed away and Jaco's father introduced the band.

Lyle had a keyboard setup only rivaled by Kieth Emerson.
