Hello all! In the Audiophile Magazine X1 review, Joël Chevassus - Novembre 2018 issue - said that he "preferred the DSD upsampled MQA file, compared to the native MQA resolution.". Personally, I prefer DSD128 upsapling for all formats, but I can't find any DSD resampling options for MQA files. Could it be that the reviewer was wrong? :skeptical:

To do this, turn MQA to Off, and upsample 44.1kHz and 48kHz to DSD(128).

Ok, I understand that the conversion he's talking about isn't really a MQA to DSD, but I assume that those files will keep, even though MQA is off, a good resolution with their 24 bits depth. I'm going to test and post my impressions. Thank you for answering [emoji106]

Once again, Peter responds within 2 hrs during the weekend. That is customer service!

After a few tests I prefer the MQA native playback with its 24 bit depth rate.
