We briefly lost power to the house about 10 days ago and the next time I tried to use my Lumin M1, it failed to power up. I leave it powered on in standby full time and guessed it was most likely a blown fuse from the surge when the power came back on. I removed the fuse which was the original, to find it very much blackened and appearing to be the issue. I ordered a 5 pack of cheap replacement fuses of the correct type(5a 250v) from Amazon and with the M1 power switch off, reattached the power cord and then turned the power switch on and immediately heard the new fuse pop(also checked power button with no luck). I removed the fuse and it was clearly blackened. I then tried the whole process again and got the exact same result. I can keep trying until I’m out of these fuses hoping one works but I’m wondering if anyone has any thoughts about why this might be happening and what else I might try?
I know I can try better(more expensive) fuses but even a cheap fuse of the proper type shouldn’t just immediately blow.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
