Well, I finally decided to order the Lumin S1 and L1. Yes, I know, why did it take me so long to do it? Hope to have them at home over the next couple of weeks.

Now the wait begins!:exciting:

a lot of news in your system!!!
I had test the Linn Klimax in my system. the ampli direct into the Klimax. Nas Synology with HD track. I do Linn dont play dsd file but sound great too!

Lumin vs. Linn??? (Linn is more expensive and in europa is more appracied vs the Lumin...)

ps: I go see to with a Dag pre&stereo combo or a Cosntellation Inspiration combo......the Lumin will be accepted!!!!

You already know you love the interface, and I suspect you will also love the sound. Adding the L1 was smart, it's so easy to use, and it actually made an improvement in the sound.

Thx Joe. I listened to Mark's A1 and loved it. The user interface is second to none.

The S1 arrives today...:celebrate008_2:But the L1 may be a couple of more days...

Interestingly, the L1 is coming via USPS. The post office will not allow for a package to be held at the post office for pick up (since it requires a signature) until delivery to the home has been tried once. Since both my wife and I work, my ability to get the L1 will be delayed by 1 to 2 days. Called the post office but no luck - it is policy.

With fedex is just two clicks on their site - so, I'm getting the S1 on my way home this eve from the fedex office; it is that easy.

Mike - the FedEX of the S1 will need to be signed for as well. Sorry....I'm cautious...I don't like boxes left at front doors! :)

Mike - No issue whatsoever with signing; actually I appreciate that. Stopping at the fedex office is not a big deal. My unhappiness is with the USPS since they must try a delivery first before I can pick up the L1 at the post office - utterly inefficient and a waste of time.

S1 is home - YES! :woot: L1 incoming...A couple more days...:(
