Lumin bug

Progress report: I just upgraded the firmware, and am testing it now for any issues. I have downloaded three albums, and once I am comfortable with the new firmware I will add them to the drive. So far it is working as expected.

It turns out that of the three albums I downloaded at work, I already have two. LOL. At least Amazon has the courtesy to provide a notice that a CD or DVD has already been purchased. I need to send a suggestion to HDTracks about that.

For the third album, 14 of the 15 tracks initially displayed. I then powered off the Lumin, removed the drive, powered on, reattached the drive, and all 15 tracks displayed.

The initial procedure was leave Lumin powered on, remove the drive, copy the new album to it, reattach drive to the Lumin, check the track listing, wait 15 minutes to see if it updates. Then I did the above sequence.

Bud -

Agree with your comments about repeat purchases. Would be a really nice feature to have HDTracks remind you if you've purchased a particular piece or collection of music.

I have not downloaded the new release.

Since I have learned you can't count on these download sites to do much of anything, I made me a spreadsheet years ago and add in the downloads I've purchased and from whom, date, cost, order # etc.. As soon as I order I just move over to my spreadsheet and log it. What, it takes about 1 min or so.
