Lumin and Spotify

Hi, I have a doubt, when I play Spotyfy , from my Ipad to my Lumin , with Air Play, who makes the process of conversion from Digital to Analog , the Ipad or Lumin ?.
 
To my knowledge, whenever AirPlay is used, the iPad performs conversion (if necessary) from source format to 16-bit 44.1kHz (digital). LUMIN receives that digital information and converts to analog via its ESS9018 (S1) or WM8741 (A1/T1/D1) DAC chip.
 
Hmmm...good question. I think the Lumin.

Hopefully , sometime, Lumin incorporate Spotify on ipad control program , as it has done with TuneIn .
 
anyone knows if they will incorporate Spotify to the Lumin App directly. like Tidal and Qobuz would make a nice addition!

Imo: Spotify interface is clean and simple and love their Radio feature "Recommended Stations" one of my favorite features and PLUS still sounds good thru a Lumin player!


Hats off to Lumin.they've produced a wonderful line of products!

Unlikely for the time being.

Please use Spotify app from iPad and send it to Lumin via AirPlay.
