I was a card carrying member Serge, both Lp's and dare I say .......... 8 tracks !

Those vinyl services must be a labor of love for the owners. I can’t imagine how any one of them can ever make any money.
In this day and age, we want something now and not having to wait days for stuff to show up.
The Columbia club had its day. If one really loves music, with over 50 million tracks available immediately, nothing beats streaming.

Getting back into Vinyl Joe :)?

I checked out the links. The one thing that I do not see is their available selections. Would love to check out what titles they offer prior to signing up for a service.

I loved the clubs back in the day!

I do "need" a table. Considering something after the summer.

I never thought I would get back into vinyl, but I got to say, I listen to my records probably more than digital any more.

I know this guy in Florida who sells turntables :D... you should look him up :P.

Ahem....shall we refer back to my “Why No Turntable?” thread where I predicted this?

Ahem....

Yea, yea, yea... and I cannot say that one sounds better than the other... but they feel different :P.

Anyone service to recommend?

vinylmeplease.com does a great job, IMO

the catalog is well-curated between two categories "classics" and "essentials." They use the best analog source when possible and good cutting houses/engineers. Chad of QRP is their pressing plant of choice. The ephemera included is cool, they all have OBIs and the vinyl is colored in many cases, in spite of that the pressings are quiet for the most part.

Subs sell out as soon as they ship and then you are stuck on a wait list that inevitably doesn't get filled. You really cant go wrong as the value of most titles double and sometimes triple in less than a year.

It never occurred to me that this service was still available. Exciting times.
