Listening session at Odyssey (LeRoy's)

Being in Chicago for Axpona, I had the pleasure of visiting LeRoy's tonight for some fine Chicago deep dish pizza and a wonderful evening of listening.

LeRoy has a wonderful listening room - wide and deep with rather high ceilings.

The source tonight was digital via a Mac mini and the Soulution DAC.

We spent hours listening and the system was absolutely fabulous.

LeRoy's Raidho D5/Soulution 711/725/5 series DAC/CD player system has mesmerizing resolution, incredible depth and width of stage and toe tapping sound.

We had a wonderful evening and I wanted to thank LeRoy for hosting me.

Fantastic Mike! I have yet to hear the D5's. Paired with the Soulution gear has got to be a fantastic system. And, of course, very nice of LeRoy!
 
Wow, now that must have been awesome. Glad you guys were able to get together.
 
I'm glad you both got together! It's always fun to hear different members systems, and Le Roy has one of the best combos I've heard.

Even though I've never been to Le Roy's house, I have listened to the same setup at David Baskins place, with Le Roy :)

Mike, it was pleasure having you guys over last nite. Most of the tunes we listened to in the beginning were thru the Naim Uniti Serve. All Redbook.

But it is really neat to have Tidal available to hear the music that you guys liked. I was introduced to some great reference tunes that I saved to my collection.
