Line Magnetic 501ia tube rolling question

Any owners here? I may well purchase a s/h one of these today, if it's in top condition. This thing uses 480W.. will rolling in KT88's and rebiasing, will this have any affect on my electricity bill?

I highly doubt any tube changes will significantly affect your electrical consumption.

I’m sure the 501ia is a wonderful piece, enjoy it. Love the way it looks too.

I'm guessing its leaning towards class A, but then again it wouldnt be producing 100w per side if so. Bit of a mystery with just 4 kt120 tubes.. biasing perhaps?
