Lampizator come with the HEAD DAC: a very interesting new line of product ( DAC + Headphone AMP ), claiming that the SYNERGY between the 2 will make Headphone listening better than from any 2 separate TOL DAC & AMP.


Here is what is said on Lampizator wen site:

Lampizator HEAD DAC - the first true headphone DAC from us. We figured out that it will be a huge compromise to create just a simple addition to normal DAC for a headphone output. We had to design the HEAD DAC from scratch. Something that is better than our own dac connected to a good headphone amp. We merged dac and amp to utilize synergies, which by the way, are huge. This Headphone DAC offers sound that will simply blow your head. Headphone output will NOT BE AVAILABLE as an addition or retrofit option to any of our DACs because the compromise is too big to “squeeze in”.

some news:

I heard that a higher end version, based on the Big7, will come later this year: the Level7 HeadDac with 45/2A3 combination.

But ... let's see first how the "original" level 4 based Head DAC sound.... when it will be available.
 
We have confirmation that The new Head-Dac IS at the NEW YORKS Show that start today !

If anyone is going to this show that start today, can you go to the Lampizator Booth please ?

I would love to know how the Head-Dac sound ( With Headphones ) and how it looks ( pictures? :-)

and may be... there will be booth version: the "standard" HeadDAc and... the Big7-HeadDac :-) ?

thanks a lot. Please do not forget to also ask about the new Big7-HeadDac :-)
 
I would expect about $1500 to $2K more than the Big 7 dac only.

I think he will only make the Big 7 HeadDac.
