Kimber Upgrade

Kimber Update and audition...called Cable Co and they sent Me KS1016 I/Cs and Kimber Bifocal XL and KS6063 speaker cable along with 9035 jumpers no 9033 jumpers to loan...

Decided to use KS1016 I/Cs between cdp and pre and amp to pre will use Kimber Hero between tuner and pre didn't notice enough difference with tuner to use KS1016...

Will keep Kimber Bifocal Didn't notice enough difference with KS6063 and jumpers to pay difference also with the KS6063 and jumpers the hookup at speakers looked to "busy" with all the wire...

Not sure if audition was influenced more by My old hearing [40 years of construction] or room...
 
The best way to get the advantage of bi wiring is to use separate cables for the highs and lows. This Kimber bi-focal does not do that. Jumpers are the least effective

Well how Ya know dat ?? I started out with Belden 4 wire cable and made My own,I thought they worked until I went with Kimber 8tc on bottom and 4tc on top sending signal to Legacy Classics there's Your separate cables, 3 years ago went with 8tc external bi-wire and covered them with black Techflex still separate cables...

Look and see how Kimber builds Bi-focal their biwire...I don't think many Folks are gonna run 2 sets of KS 60 series for bi-wire maybe, but not Me
