Bought these when they were first released around 9 months ago and they’ve just sat around not getting any love. I saw a post about a firmware update and got them going today. All I can say is WOW! They image like crazy and really make me wonder why I have 15 pairs of speakers! Highly recommended.

I heard them at my Kef dealer. I was blown away at how good they sound. I want a set for my main floor living room.

Have a pair on the way for the kitchen, along with a wyred for sound modded Sonos Connect. Seems the app isn't great, but the connect should fix that (and my daughter will of course want the same rig for her room). Should be interesting.

I'm sure they're awesome...I have the Kef X300A wireless in my office with a B&W sub and I love them...much better than they have any right to be!

I rolled in USB and power cords...added some good fuses and they blow me away...

I'm actually listening to them in my office tonight instead of powering up the system in the listening room...and don't feel bad about it!

I have a black pair with blue drivers for sale if anyone wants them.

Santa gave me a pair for Christmas in the beautiful Nocturne version:

I have to say I don't know the speakers from earlier versions and I've immediately updated to the latest firmware as for me the reason I wanted the speakers is Roon.

I can only say that I am impressed how good they really are. This is true high-end sound quality. Full bodied, beautiful soundstage and powerful. These tiny babies can fill a pretty big space!
I use them with my Sunfire Atmos sub which makes the sound complete.

This is value for money and from now on I'll advice my friends who don't want to spend a fortune and who don't want to sacrifice their living room or do a lot of preparation for cabling etcetera this speaker.

Only invest in this speaker (ca. 2.300 EUR in the standard version) and a Roon lifetime for 500 EUR and that is the single investment. Plus 20 per Month for a Tidal HiFi.
Just plug in the speakers in the wall power outlet and that is giving you access to most of the music there is plus real high end sound in a compact box.

For people who really don't care about music and quality the Sonos'es and co of this world will definitely keep dominating but for for the ones who do care but just don't want do spend the investment and efforts that we do this is the real deal.

I actually use the W4S modded sonos connect with these and it works great. I have these in the kitchen and I knew the family would only use it with the sonos interface - somehow Roon is too much work for them. Best of both worlds.

I am sure that works and since they probably already were used to Sonos that makes sense but that is not even necessary. With Tidal or Spotify only you can stream the music natively to the speakers.

Yep. It was the interface that makes it work for them. Not necessary, but if it was just Roon or tidal, I know what the response would have been. This also allows radio (remember that?!?!) and podcasts, which we listen to as much as tidal in the kitchen (pitiful waste of the KEFs though). I also listen to music from my NAS.

I can imagine that the sound is as good as or better than with the standard KEF DAC. I don't think it is that special anyway. It just works nice together. I will also try a comparison between the buit-in KEF DAC and the PS Audio.

And I do understand the radio and podcast function. I didn't consider it since Roon has it all together and mixes the NAS content, radio and Tidal but of course you don't want to miss out on features! :-)

I also use the KEF's in the kitchen but they are that good that I can understand if people have this as a main audio system and are completely happy with it. 20 years ago that sound and comfort for that little money was unthinkable. Sorry for my superlatives but I still have to get used of how good it really sounds.
