Thought I post how it sounds with setup! From video it seems like it has a lot of siblance but in room not so much! Using Jriver 19/ 44.1 files.

WOW. After hearing it through the recorded video I realized my room has soooo much echo. Definitely picking up carpet today.

Wow, nice! How do you like the sound? Can you tell me what speakers you listened to before you decided on these? They look like real contenders. I read that with proper set up the bass can go down to mid 30s. Are you getting that?

Thanks in advance

Best,
Adrian Low

They are transmission line bass, and they go to 40hz, which already is impressive for the size.

Who said they were transmission line speakers? I believe that would be impossible given their size and their claimed FR in the bass. They certainly can't be 1/4 wavelength transmission line speakers.

Special type of transmission line application…I was told by an insider who said the designer is a genius.

Cant say anymore in public…offline if interested.

I think it might go down to 40hz. but not certain. I had a bass tone disk awhile back but lost it but I remember 40hz. bass and on some recordings it does good job. It's really a good speaker for the price of 2,500.00. Transparent with good soundstage and bass and plenty of details if source offer it. It can get a little harsh up top but since I got a carpet in my room, it seemed to settle down a bit.

I've heard sonus. Olympicaw, kef ls50, b&w, fritz speakers, Dynaudio c1.s, to name a few..

Compared to olympicas, more details in bass but as you would expect, a bit more forward in overall presentation.

Dynaudio c1 signature bookshelfs, sweeter mid and highs on Dynaudio and better soundstage depth.

But Dynaudio was hooked up to 20k audio research monos and preamp etc.

I haven't heard the micros with the dartzeel.. gear when it was first showed in audio shows.

But even without the dartzeels, they are very good speakers and would recommend it, very good sound with Hugo dac and job 225 atm. Can't wait to play them on my clones monos arriving next week.

I've heard a lot of speakers bookshelves because I went to a audio show and I can say I preferred the microones to any monitor at the show.. and there were quite a few of them.

the Dynaudio c1 are better imo including the setup.
I don't know how they would sound on the dartzeels so I can't say, but with audio research gear, I would take the c1s.

I contacted Jonathan tinn. to see if the micro2 were coming out early next year but he said he's not sure so ill prabably end up either getting a Dynaudio c1 or the Soundwave kaos 40s, so pm if you can remember:)

Or i might must keep it but if i dont, I'll prabably put it up for about 1,300.00 with stands shipped to Audioshark members.

Soundkaos wave 40s are waaay more expensive than the others you mentioned.

I heard the MM1 with Dartzeel gear..very nice. The Kef LS50 should be nice too.
Try throwing the ifI iTube into that mixture to see if it doesnt improve.

They were $2500 with stand but I seem to remember they've gone up. Perhaps if Jonathan is reading this thread, he can comment?

I recall either $3,500 or $4K with stands now. Aparently, the talk was that proiduction problems, hence costs were way more than anticipated (as was reflected in the huge order backlog back a year or so ago).
