Is a 600 ohm preamp output impedance to high for 28BSST2's ? ...

Hi James,

Any thoughts? Audio Research preamps are typically 600 ohms. My GAT is <100 ohms and works wonderfully but is single ended.

Input impedance is a bit low at 15k but it shouldn't have any issues. 600 ohm output from a tube pre is probably a cathode follower output so it should have plenty of current, no problem driving the Bryston.
 
What's the input impedance on the Bryston amps?

But I think it might drop a little lower is reality.
 
15K each leg on the Balanced and 50K on the RCA single ended. You want at least a 10 to 1 ratio between preamp output impedance and amplifier input impedance,
